What was the battle of coral sea?
The Battle of Coral Sea was fought between the United States and Australia for the Allies versus the Japanese for the Axis Powers. The Battle was initiated by the Japanese government ordering the military to occupy and take over Tulagi and Port Moresby. When the Americans learned of this plan by deciphering the Japanese codes, they sent American and Australian resistance to halt the Japanese.
